This engagement ring was special for many reasons, first being that this was my very first engagement ring commission! I confess, it’s actually been a good while since I completed this ring, so I’m extremely excited to be finally getting around to sharing it with you.
RJ is currently a manager at my partner’s bagel shops and to say we are so grateful to have him in our lives, would be an understatement. He’s kind, supportive, hardworking, and more than anything, he deeply cares about the ones around him. One of those people is his now fiancé, Trene’t. Trene’t is a trained horticulturist so it only made sense that we make a ring worthy of a horticulturist’s hand.
Inspired by nature, this 14k yellow gold ring features a 1.3ct oval green Madagascart sapphire flanked by intertwined leaves, branches & vines.
I’ll conclude this by saying, creating custom jewelry, especially heirloom pieces, has become one of the greatest creative loves of my life. Having someone give me their trust in hearing their story, creating something that will stand the test of time and is both beautiful and symbolic, is a joy and honor.
