Explore the Process

Each piece I create carries a story of heritage, craft, and intention. My process is slow, deliberate, and rooted in connection, to the materials, the techniques, and the people who wear the work. Whether it’s a custom heirloom or a ready-to-wear piece, I approach each step with care and attention to detail.

Where it begins

Inspiration & Concept

Each piece is born from an idea, often drawn from the natural imperfections that make things beautiful in life. Sometimes the inspiration comes from objects passed down in families and other times from a simple shape or detail I see in my natural habitat.

Choosing the Foundation

Materials & Intentionality

I work primarily with precious metals like recycled silver and gold. Every material is chosen for its durability, longevity, and beauty, but also for its story. Using reclaimed and responsibly sourced metals allows each piece to connect to something larger than itself.

This is where intention comes in: I believe jewelry should be made to last, both in design and meaning.

from raw to refined

Creation

This is where the transformation happens. Each piece is sawed, shaped, soldered, and polished by hand, sometimes over hours, sometimes over days. I follow the flow of the metal, letting the process guide me rather than forcing perfection.

No two pieces are ever exactly alike. Subtle marks, textures, and organic edges are part of the story.

Details Matter

Finishing Touches

After shaping, I move into refining, sanding edges, burnishing surfaces, and polishing until the form feels complete. Even in this stage, I aim to preserve the handmade quality, leaving hints of the work behind, rather than erasing every trace of the process.

Final Connection

When a piece is finished, my work is only halfway done. The final step is connection, ensuring the jewelry finds its place with someone who feels aligned with it. Whether it’s a custom-made heirloom or a ready-to-wear design, the piece carries intention forward, becoming part of your story.

Jewelry is more than ornament, it’s a conversation between maker, material, and wearer. If you’d like to explore creating something deeply personal, I’d love to work with you.
